Tusk RC is a 3D Print based design company, specializing in remote controlled trucks and heavy equipment.
Founded in 2025 by Andy Gorup, who began 3d-printing in 2024. Andy wanted an RC truck that could do what he sees at work during his day job in the waste industry – leading down a rabbit-hole of learning CAD… to design 3D printed parts … to one day build a printed fleet of RC rolloff, trash trucks and other commercial equipment.
Key design philosophies
-Modular. Parts should be reusable, replaceable, repairable, and interchangeable
-Minimal Hardware. Purchased hardware should be kept to a minimal variety, whenever possible.
-Fun! Projects should be easy to assemble and maintain. Time should be spent enjoying the trucks and not assembling.
